I'm sure that everyone has heard by now that 'Agent Carter' with Haley Atwell is a go! Yay for Hayley. I'm super excited for this show. Atwell just revealed that Howard Stark himself (Dominic Cooper as seen above bottom right) will also be reprising his role from 'Captain America: The First Avenger' and will be joining her on the new series.

Somehow I've never heard of the zombie British series 'In the Flesh.' How did this one slip through the cracks? I've been seeing recaps of the Season 2 finale online. I hope Season 1 comes to Netflix or Amazon Prime so I can catch up.

The Wachowski's new film 'Jupiter Ascending' with Mila Kunis has been pushed back from July 2014 to a February 6, 2015 release. This is never a good sign, but word on the street is that the visual effects just weren't ready in time. Me thinks there is more to this story.

Original 'Roswell' Cast
For those of you who are not bombarded with pop culture articles in your news feeds like I am, you may not have heard of the Rihann/TLC feud. Allow me to recap. Last week Rihanna appeared at some awards show pretty much naked, which isn't unusual for Rihanna. The 90s singing group TLC slammed Rihanna by saying that she's always naked and that she's shamelessly using sex to sell records, which is kinda true. Rihanna fired back on twitter by posting a promotional photo of a nearly nude TLC from the 90s. All of which is kinda funny. What's not funny is how people are describing the remaining members of TLC as "old" in the comments.

So anyway, this is a roundabout way of saying that I realized through this silly little celebrity feud that the 90s was actually a long time ago. The Rihanna/TLC feud made me realize that I was in high school in the early to mid-90s and TLC was blaring in my CD player. So onto the point of this convoluted tale...behold the 'Roswell' 15 year Reunion. Wow, 'Roswell' is actually 15 years old. I remember when this was the "all the rage" for folks in their late teens/early 20s drama. It was a fun little space opera for us younguns, who I guess are now old-uns. Moving on.

COOL+STUFF+99.jpg

Watch Hugh Jackman's very first audition for Wolverine in the original 'X-Men' film. I really like Hugh Jackman. He looks so cute during his first Wolverine audition. Jackman was cast three weeks into filming as a replacement for Dougary Scott. Scott got tied up with the Mission Impossible 2. And the rest as they say is history. It's hard to believe this was also like 15 years ago.

I read an article some years back that Singer thought that Jackman was too nice for the role, so Jackman started taking cold showers so he could get angry and channel that anger into Wolverine. I read in that same article that Bryan Singer threatened to replace Jackman during the first film. Unfortunately I can't source that last tidbit. I read that article about 10+ years ago, but I never forgot it because the article detailed how mean Singer was to Jackman. I've never looked at Signer the same way.

Some enterprising person thought those plain neighborhood watch signs were just that--plain. So they started to "deface" the neighborhood watch signs the best way they could, with superheroes! I love this.

TRAILERS+99.jpg

NBC has just released the new 'Constantine' trailer, yet another DC Comics show that's not Wonder Woman. 'Constantine' was turned into a terrible film with Keanu Reeves in the mid-2000s. After seeing the trailer, the jury's still out. It could be really really good or really really bad.

Second trailer for 'The Leftovers' has been released. 'The Leftovers' debuts later this month on Sunday June 29th on HBO. 'The Leftovers' is about the realities of the rapture when 2% of the world's population suddenly disappears. It could be a very interesting show. I will be tuning in for at least three episodes. I typically give a show three episodes to capture me. If I don't want to continue watching by episode three, then I move on. I just don't have time to watch too much crappy tv. I already watch enough crap.

So who needs a Lego "Predator?" I do.

Who wants a dragon hair clip? Me! They actually have a 'Game of Thrones' flair to them.

If you're like me then at some point you've been forced to watch (or you want to watch) some portion of the PGA (Professional Golfers' Association) tour. This is a great gift for 'Star Wars' fan/golf lover in your life.

COSPLAY.jpg

I think someone has found his perfect cosplay costume. The Mountain from 'Game of Thrones' (Hafpor Julius Bjornsson) is dressed up as the Hulk for a little boy's 3rd birthday. Unlike his character, Hafpor is a gentle giant.

This is probably the best 'Indiana Jones' cosplay I have ever seen. Well done sirs. Well done.
