It’s a shame that they couldn’t get the timing better coordinated with the upcoming S.H.I.E.L.D. comic, but the first season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be available on DVD and Blu-ray on September 9, just in time for the fall TV season.

  • The “Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe” TV Special

  • Five behind-the-scenes featurettes, called “Field Reports”, which explore the making of favorite episodes: “The Malibu Jump”, “The Bridge”, “Asgardian Bar Fight”, “Classified”, “Cello Duet”
  • VFX breakdowns, which use split frames to compare effect sequences to the final versions
  • Deleted scenes
  • A gag reel

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grand Ward, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, and Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons.
