spellbinder - final 4-Pubslush1Greetings, all!

As I write you this night, I am about to launch my very first fundraising campaign EVER!

The 30-DAY EVENT, STARTING on SATURDAY, JUNE 21st, will be hosted by Pubslush, and the URL for the campaign page is http://SPELLBINDER.pubslush.com

Please, go there now: read about the project, see what Pubslush has to offer, and check out my donation-leveled rewards. I spent a great deal of time designing the rewards to give everyone a donation level they could feel comfortable with and some great rewards for your support. While you are there, click the green “I’m Interested” button and the site will automatically notify you when the campaign has officially started. Also, I would consider it a favor if you would please share this with others who might be interested.

I will publish Spellbinder, but the form the book takes and the quality of the publication depends on many factors; not the least of which is my finances (or should I say, the current lack thereof). I am seeking to raise funds that will enable me to publish Spellbinder in the best possible form. The first funds received will go towards the costs associated with the actual publication: ISBN numbers, Copyright, artwork, finishing the cover, internal formatting, printing, etc. The next part of the funding is earmarked for publicity. The last portion, and the largest chunk of all, is slated to hire a professional editor – which ain’t cheap! If my entire goal is met (or exceeded), I will do all this (and more), if not, then I will do what I can with what I get. Sounds simple enough to actually work.

As the campaign progresses, I will update you here about any milestones or interesting occurrences. This is a bit of an experiment and I will share with you about my successes and failures as I analyze the results. Please feel free to offer your suggestions and comments!

Reward Sneak Peak

While you’re here, let me share with you a couple items that I was unable to share on the Pubslush campaign page due to the limitations of their format:
