Christopher Kane took a page from his childhood when developing his Fall/Winter 13 collection. Inspired by Friday night horror lineups, Kane's latest collection promises to be excitingly ghoulish. The collection capitalizes on the graphic print trend (a trend with amazing longevity) highlighting multiple screen printed knits of legendary monsters such as: Dracula, The Creature from the Black Lagoon and Frankenstein. I'm enthralled with the collection. Kane has chosen dark elements that most would shy from (I mean lets be honest a big Frankenstein on a shirt isn't becoming in theory) and turned them into a pretty solid collection that cultivates prints and dark colors. It's the perfect union of sophisticated menswear and geek nostalgia. The Frankenstein Tee and the Dracula cardigan are my top picks. What are your faves?
