In 1996, Marvel Comics and FOX released this Generation X made-for-TV movie. The original plan was to make it an on-going TV series, but unfortunately this did not pan out. Many X-Men fans do not like this pilot, but I don’t mind it. It’s rare that Marvel focuses on it’s smaller franchises, but the X-Men reissue in 1991 did really well with it’s alternative spin and Generation X was a very ’90s comic book I liked with a team of edgy and grungey, teen mutants, so I can see why they invested time and money into the project.
So, if you’re a comic book fan… enjoy the film! It stars 2 of my favorite X-Men - Jubilee and The White Queen, or Emma Frost as her students know her.
