When I was doing my research for the Bootleg Barbie Tarot Cards piece I wrote this week, I came across something REALLY COOL on the Barbie website! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have anything against Barbie - but let’s be honest I’m a guy, so it’s not like a brand that generally appeals to me. BUT, but, but, I love all things super heroes, and Barbie is, for the first time ever, taking on the roll of a super heroine! She has had jobs ranging from a fast food worker to the president, so it only makes sense that she is always going bigger… I mean that’s what Barbie does! She is the girl who can do it all!
You can even make your own comic book pages on the Barbie website! Check out the one I made and the trailer of Barbie in Princess Power above. I can’t wait until it comes out on Netflix!
