Comic Con 2013 is in full swing and while we work to bring you the latest scoop from the panels this bit is in high demand. The panel for the hit AMC show The Walking Dead wrapped just an hour or so ago and in that panel we got both a season premiere date and the first bit of official footage.
Let’s start with the premiere date, mark those calendars for Sunday, October 13 at 9pm as that is when Rick, Darryl, and the gang continue to fight for their lives in season 4. The season premiere of Talking Head with host Chris Hardwicke will debut right after at 10pm.
Next up the footage. New showrunner Scott M. Gimple debuted the first official trailer that sits a little over 4-minutes long to a pack Hall H with comic creator Robert Kirkman telling the crowd ”Things are going to be way crazier, it’s an escalation.”
