Colin Trevorrow is currently filming Jurassic World, and last week confirmed some of the plot detail rumors that have been floating around. While we know an all new dinosaur (genetically engineered and didn't actually exist) will be hitting the big screen, we've had no idea what it would look like. Some concept art has landed online showing off what could be our first look at the D-Rex. Come inside to check it out.
Diabolus-Rex is the name being given to the all new dino creation for Jurassic World, and all we've really had to go on is this description (which the director later confirmed was real):
"They splice together a T-Rex, raptor, snake, and cuttlefish to create a monstrous new dino that, of course, gets loose and terrorizes the park."
The description had fans nervous, and wondering what this monstrosity would look like, and hopefully wouldn't be too drastic a change from what's already been seen on film before. Today, via Twitter, this concept art landed, showing a design for the D-Rex:
Here's a Diabolus-Rex concept by @JurassicWorldFr! Is this what you imagined for the new dino? #JurassicWorld #JP4 pic.twitter.com/B9UsHrgS30

It looks good! It certainly looks like a dinosaur still, but from the sound of it, it's unique aspects have to be seen in action to be fully enjoyed. Either way, this bad boy looks mean as hell. I'd love something for a size reference (I'm guessing it's big), but until Universal releases something else, this is all we've got.
What do you guys think of the design? Jurassic World is set to hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
