recipes, star wars

Welcome back to Courtney Cooks Star Wars, your blog for Star Wars recipe geekery.

This week I’m doing a super easy recipe for all you non-cooks out there. And I do mean SUPER easy. In fact, I bet you have all the ingredients needed in your pantry right now.

This is a dessert recipe using the food Braboli from the 2009 novel Fate of the Jedi: Abyss by Troy Denning. Braboli was a rich snack food often favored by dignitaries of the Imperial Remnant. It was apparently served along with a variety of expensive liquors during the period after the Second Galactic Civil War. I’ve imagined Braboli as a decadent, gooey chocolate brownie dessert…which would be great with say, a glass of Bailey’s. (wink) This is an individual serving dish, meaning you can go make it RIGHT NOW! So, go!

Braboli

Serves 1

Ingredients:

2 TBS all-purpose flour

2 tsp. white sugar

2 tsp. cocoa powder (or a little more if you’d like your dessert extra delightful)

¼ tsp. baking powder

A pinch of salt

2 TBS Nutella or Peanut Butter

1 TBS vegetable oil

2 TBS milk

Ice cream of your choice

  • 1.Grab your favorite coffee mug. Combine all of the ingredients but the ice cream in the mug. Mix well.
  • 2.Microwave the mug-mixture for 45 seconds.
  • 3.Remove from microwave, top with a scoop of your favorite ice cream. Insert a spoon and start enjoying. - Told ya it was super easy.
