Disneyland Thor: Treasures of Asgard Visual Tour

This past week I had the chance to check out Disneyland’s new Innovations exhibit, Thor: Treasures of Asgard.

The exhibit is situated next to the Iron Man: Suit Up exhibit and features an exterior exhibition of prop weapons from the film and then a small holding room which features more prop weaponry and “artifacts” from Thor: The Dark World.

Once you make it in small groups into the waiting room, there is a rather cheesy recorded welcome by Odin followed by some smoke and lights and then the door opens revealing the throne room of Asgard where you are greeted by Thor.

Thor selects a child from the audience to attempt to lift his hammer and then poses for photo opportunities with everyone in attendance.

The cast member playing Thor does a terrific job and the prop display is very cool. They just need to work on the effects during the reveal.
