Jedi News’ main Episode VII rumor source, “Jedi Master SQL” recently told the website that:

JN: What can you tell us about the outline for Episode Seven?

SQL: Very little, but one small hint. Star Wars The Old Republic has added a planet that has long been mentioned but never seen on film…

Now there are a number of planets that have existed as either a mention in the original trilogy or in the Expanded Universe.

If I were placing bets my money would be on Ord Mantell or Corellia, with the latter being the smart bet. Ord Mantell was first mentioned in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, when Han Solo says, “Well, the bounty hunter we ran into on Ord Mantell changed my mind.”

Corellia was first mentioned in the novelization for Episode IV: A New Hop e on page 78, when Obi-Wan and Luke walk into the Mos Eisley cantina and Obi-Wan says, “Corellians–pirates, most likely.” In the film the first mention of Corellia is again by Han Solo when he talks about ships from the planet, “It’s the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. I’ve outrun Imperial starships. Not the local bulk cruisers mind you, I’m talking about the big Corellian ships now. She’s fast enough for you old man. What’s the cargo?”

I believe that Corellia makes the most sense and would be the most appealing across the board location for original trilogy as well as Expanded Universe fans. Will we being going for the first time on screen to Han Solo’s homeworld in Episode VII?
