The talented Francesco Francavilla (artist on Afterlife With Archie, his own Black Beetle, and a number of Marvel comics) has posted at his art Tumblr concept art for Batman 1972, re-envisioning the hero and his supporting characters Commissioner Gordon, Catwoman, and the Riddler as though they stepped out of the period urban setting.
