Star Wars Weekends is one week away, kicking off on May 16 and continuing through June 15. All five weekends will be jam packed with celebrities, activities, and new merchandise. The first weekend will include appearances by James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Ahmed Best (Jar Jar Binks), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), and Vanessa Marshall (Hera Syndulla) with an impressive opening schedule lined up with various shows and entertainment.

Returning for her sixth year in a row is Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the creator of Her Universe. Each weekend, Ashley will be hosting Behind The Force: Star Wars Rebels, where she will go behind the scenes of the highly anticipated animated series.

Fans at Star Wars Weekends will be introduced to an all-new Star Wars line featuring dresses, skirts, t-shirts, and other apparel in a boutique located within Darth’s Mall. Last month, Ashley teased a few upcoming products, including the Ewok Hooded Tank. I even spotted the Boba Fett Hooded Tank in the corner of the rack behind Ashley, so I’m glad to know that I wasn’t imagining things, as seen in the gallery below. Additionally, fans there will be present for the debut of a new collectible, high-end jewelry line designed by The Sparkle Factory. Entitled the “My Hero Collection,” this jewelry line highlights the lovable droid, R2-D2.

Her Universe is also introducing plus sizes! Personally, I’ve been waiting for this for a long time. Although I am a big fan of the shirts and products available at Her Universe, the sizes run small. My shirt size is normally a large, but I’ve had to purchase a 2XL or 3XL to get what would ordinarily be a large size. Fangirls comes in different shapes and sizes, so I’m glad that more girls will have more options and opportunities to flaunt their world.
