Whether it's Dina Goldstein's provocative live action photographs of "Fallen Princesses," macabre versions of beloved Disney princesses, or Disney princesses reimagined as modern pop culture icons ('The Little Mermaid' as 'Black Widow,' 'Snow White' as 'Wonder Woman,' 'Mulan' as 'Xena: The Warrior Princess,' 'Sleeping Beauty' as 'Daenerys Targaryen', or 'Pocohantas' as 'Katniss Everdeen'), Disney princess art has suddenly become cool. Don't ask me why. And don't ask me why I like it. Perhaps it's years of subliminal Disney-conditioning? I've tried to keep my obsession with Disney princess art under control for the most part, but now there is a new subset: Disney Princesses with none other then...Dr. Who. So it's official, stick a fork in me. I'm done. I love cheesy Disney princess art.

I haven’t been talking much about the Doctor Who: The Eleventh Doctor series. I liked companion Alice, but she quickly got lost in adding a couple more creatures traveling with...

My Review: Fair warning, if you have an eARC of this book, it probably does not include the last story, Black Dog. I’m lucky I had a published print copy...
I was curious to try the launch of the Doctor Who: The Twelfth Doctor comic series, because I lost interest in the show in the second half of the Eleventh...
The Doctor Who comics, like so many these days, are available with multiple covers. There’s usually a main art cover, possibly a painted variant, but there’s also been a lot...
