The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service
Book 13
At Anime Expo, Dark Horse announced that they would be continuing the Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service manga series. The last volume released was Book 13, which came out at the end of 2012.
Although it’s a horror series, with a group of misfits dealing with zombies and investigating sometimes grotesque murders, I quite enjoy Kurosagi for its exploration of the dark side of human nature and its gruesomely lovely, detailed art, so I’m glad to hear we’ll get more.
No specific date for volume 14 was given, and there’s no date listed on the company’s upcoming manga page. There’s also no listing yet at Amazon, so I’m guessing we won’t see the next book until early 2015. There are 19 volumes out so far in Japan.
However, in additional news, Dark Horse will be putting out omnibus editions of the series, for those who’d like to catch up or give it a try. Each will contain three books, and they will cover volumes 1-12.
