This looks like an odd but intriguing film. Birdman, due out October 17, “is a black comedy that tells the story of an actor (Michael Keaton) — famous for portraying an iconic superhero — as he struggles to mount a Broadway play. In the days leading up to opening night, he battles his ego and attempts to recover his family, his career, and himself.”
It also stars Emma Stone, Edward Norton, Andrea Riseborough, Zach Galifianakis, Naomi Watts, and Amy Ryan. Keaton looks a lot different from when I last remember seeing him, and there are some nifty-looking special effects (hallucinations?). Plus, Edward Norton fighting in his underwear.
