A slightly weird and MILD obsession of mine are little microcosm worlds. When I was a kid, I couldn’t get enough of SimTown. I had 100s of action figures and playsets in which I would sit in front of all afternoon and night, composing my own little live action comic book scenes. I even created a giant, paper mall on a poster board when I was a kid with customers and celebrities cut out and pasted all throughout it, so big surprise that I have my own virtual mall and want to start building another one on my book shelf! I seriously should have been born in Japan…
But just to show you guys I’m totally self aware, I do realize that I am a grown a$$ man, and I absolutely adore and have to have all of this stuff. It’s kind of weird, but it could definitely get weirder. I’ve actually been planning a “plastic zen garden” for a while, to place all my collectible figurines in, but I needed a world for this plastic garden to exist in, and I think I’ve definitely found some key pieces for my plastic statuary!
So what do you think? Totally crazy for a 20-something-year-old or are you totally as into it as I am?
