Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin: Activation

reviews

Many thanks to my boyfriend's influence, I am a huge fan of Gundam Mobile Suits. I love collecting and building them, when I am not writing or attending blogger events. I like to relax, watch TV, and build. My kind of stress therapy. Many of my family and friends find it strange that I love to build mobile suits, but they think it is pretty cool. Even my classmates and manager think my love for gundam building is pretty cool.

My instagram is clear evidence how much of a fan I am. On valentines day, my boyfriend surprised with my first gundam kit (well, after nagging him for a while about buying one for me). GPB-04B BEARGGUY. He was absolutely adorable after I completed him. Now, I am currently working on my second gundam that is more challenging and time consuming: RX-78-2 GUNDAM- Real Grade.

Since I am passionate about Gundam Mobile Suit building, why not learn the history?! I am currently reading Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin: Activation by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko. This is book 1 of the 4 part series of Mobile Suit Gundam. This is a very good read if you are interested in Gundams, or a fan of good manga artwork.

SYNOPSIS:

In the universal year 0079, a war broke out between a breakaway nation of earth colonists known as the Principality of Zeon, and the Earth Federation. During the war, a crew uses an experimental Mobile Suit Gundam RX-78 to navigate their way through battle, until 15 year old Amuro Ray discovers the Mobile Suit, and learns to control it.

He also discovers that his father participated in the Mobile Suit Gundam RX-78 experiments, to help the earth federation during their war efforts against the Principality of Zeon. Amuro Ray must pilot the experimental gundam to help save humanity, and earth.

PROS: I enjoyed the artwork and the story a lot. This is a traditional look, much better than your ordinary mangas.

CONS: I did not experience any cons

RECOMMENDATIONS: I would recommend Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin: Activation by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko to anyone who are fans of Gundam Mobile Suits, or want to learn more about Gundam Mobile Suits

RATING: 5 out of 5

This is definitely a great manga to read. This is not your ordinary manga, which I love. You can pick up this manga at midtown comics, forbidden planet, or any local comic and book store. What do you think about this manga? leave your thoughts in the comments section below. Thank you for reading. Be Beautiful & Geeky :)
