H.P. Lovecraft Rises Again…as a Delicious Honey Ale
Narragansett Beer has released the first in a four-part series honoring the legendary writer. The year was 1890, and, all in all it was a pretty good year. Up here...
So by now you might have noticed that pretty little purple widget on the homepage, or seen the announcements on Facebook and Twitter. Exciting things are happening - next week marks the Universe's first live Q&A, and the guest is none other than George R.R. Martin's editor, Anne Groell!
Anne's Q&A page is open for questions now - you can submit questions as a Universe user or a guest, and you can vote up other questions you want answered. Anne will sit down from 3-4pm EST to respond to the questions that have risen to the top - tune in then for answers!
And as a bonus, I'm offering a prize pack of three books Anne's edited to the three Universe members with the highest-voted questions as of the start of the answer session at 3pm on 5/29 - so get voting.
In addition, next week I'll be debuting my new Editor's Picks post series. I'll be highlighting books, movies, shows, comics, and news that's of particular interest to Universe members. Depending on how good this weekend's episode is, there's a non-zero chance that the first one will be me raving about how much I love Penny Dreadful, but I'll try to restrain myself.
Always happy to hear your feedback/questions/suggestions, either here or @emilyhughes!
