Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars
From Disney Jedi Princesses to the upcoming Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars special, franchise crossovers are a common practice and even more prevalent when it comes to Star Wars. On July 26, the galaxy far, far away will be taking our favorite duo in a whole new adventure. The special, a parallel story that will follow the events of Episode IV: A New Hope, will premiere at 9PM Eastern on the Disney Channel and re-air on August 4 at 7:30PM Eastern on Disney XD. Download the Disney Watch app or visit the site to watch an early preview on July 19. Whatever you do, don’t miss the extended look of the upcoming animated series Star Wars Rebels following the repeat on August 4.

New Episode of “Now, This Is Podcasting!”
After a few absences, Jeremy Conrad of Furious Fanboys and I returned to MakingStarWars.net‘s “Now, This Is Podcasting!” this past weekend. Star Wars: A New Dawn at San Diego Comic Con
Del Rey Books recently announced that San Diego Comic Con-goers will have the opportunity to grab a free advance promo copy of the Star Wars Rebels novel, Star Wars: A New Dawn, by John Jackson Miller at the Del Rey booth. The novel is set to debut on September 2, 2014, which you can pre-order from Amazon today, but lucky fans will receive this exclusive copy two months prior to the release. The advance promo copy of will also include excerpts from Star Wars: Tarkin by James Luceno, Star Wars: Heir to the Empire by Kevin Hearne, and Star Wars: Lords to the Sith by Paul Kemp.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Available Through Other Platforms
All of the seasons of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, including “The Lost Missions,” premiered on Netflix back in March 2014, leaving many fans wondering how else to access to the final season of the Emmy Award winning animated series. A recent announcement on the The Clone Wars Facebook page revealed that the remaining episodes will appear in the following platforms: Apple iTunes (US & Canada), Amazon Google (US & Canada), Microsoft (US & Canada), Sony (US & Canada), and Verizon VUDU. No word yet on international as well as DVD/Blu-ray releases, which are concerns that have been brought up in the comments section by several fans.
