Harry Potter Diagon Alley Google streetview

If there ever was a fictional place that I wish were real, Diagon Alley would be in my top five. From getting your wand at Ollivander's to the variety of pranks and jokes at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, not to mention the mountain of books at Flourish and Blott's, Diagon Alley has it all.

Well now you can visit from the comfort of your armchair.

The set from Diagon Alley, currently as part of the Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London, is available to see in Google Street View. You can see some of the amazing detail in the set and props, as well as a giant green screen behind Gringott's Bank.

When I first looked at the map, I turned left and this thing immediately loomed at me from out of the shadows:

Death Eater in Diagon Alley

Yup, that's a Death Eater hiding in the shadows of a side-alley, waiting to freak the bejeesus out of anyone who walks past. Well played, Warner Bros. Well played. See if you can spot it for yourself.

I'm itching to visit the Harry Potter Studio Tour; I've heard it's phenomenal for fans of the story as well as fans of film making.

And yes, I want to drink Butterbeer and yes I want to buy a wand specially chosen for me at Ollivander's.
