On Saturday, September 27, there were several Star Wars Rebels screenings across the country with one major premiere in California. Fans and celebrities turned up for the event, including the cast and crew behind Star Wars Rebels. During the Star Wars Rebels press junket, the cast and crew answered several questions about the production and story behind the series. In one instance, executive producer Dave Filoni mentioned that he showed George Lucas the first two episodes and said, “He really enjoyed it–I would know the difference, getting notes from him for 9 years.”
In other Star Wars Rebels news, Lucasfilm and Disney approached English dubstep producer and DJ Flux Pavilion to remix the Rebels theme song. He took to Twitter and announced the news, “Lucasfilm and Disney have joined forces on a new Star Wars project called ‘Star Wars Rebels‘ and they asked me to remix the Rebel’s theme!”
