On Saturday, September 27, there were several Star Wars Rebels screenings across the country with one major premiere in California. Fans and celebrities turned up for the event, including the cast and crew behind Star Wars Rebels. Stay tuned for a slew of interviews that will come in waves over the next week or so, but until then, you can browse through the photo galleries at LaughingPlace.com and Zimbio.

During the Star Wars Rebels press junket, the cast and crew answered several questions about the production and story behind the series. In one instance, executive producer Dave Filoni mentioned that he showed George Lucas the first two episodes and said, “He really enjoyed it–I would know the difference, getting notes from him for 9 years.”

Dave also donned the Star Wars Rebels Stormtrooper helmet at the office a few days ago.

In other Star Wars Rebels news, Lucasfilm and Disney approached English dubstep producer and DJ Flux Pavilion to remix the Rebels theme song. He took to Twitter and announced the news, “Lucasfilm and Disney have joined forces on a new Star Wars project called ‘Star Wars Rebels‘ and they asked me to remix the Rebel’s theme!”
