Lucasfilm has released another behind the scenes video for Star Wars Rebels. In this video we are introduced to and learn a little about Greg Weisman and his love of the Star Wars franchise.
He also talks about the tone of Star Wars Rebels and one of the main overarching stories it will tell.
“Star Wars Rebels is set between Episode III and Episode IV, but we are closer to IV on the timeline where we start. Tonally we are really leaning towards A New Hope, we’ve got a rebellion that is not yet organized, is not yet the Rebel Alliance. One of the main things our show is about, and I am talking about over seasons is we’re going to show how the Rebel Alliance came to be. That is tremendously exciting, I think it’s great for the audience, but it’s just tremendously exciting for me.”
