Force Friday Galactic Madness
For the sake of ultimate transparency, I've never been a huge Star Wars fan. In fact, I've been known to commit the act of blasphemy, in loving the second trilogy...
Friday, March 7, is approaching swiftly! Netflix will be releasing the 2008 Star Wars: The Clone Wars feature film, all five seasons of the television series, and the 13 remaining episodes (known as the “The Lost Missions”) starting at 12:01AM Pacific Time.
Since all of the material will appear at once, Coffee With Kenobi wrote up a great piece about binge-watching vs. savoring the unseen episodes. Which will be your preferred method? I plan on staying up, joining in fan conversations across various social media channels, and having a marathon.
For those also planning on sacrificing sleep, join The Wookiee Gunner, Making Star Wars, Rebels Report, Scum and Villainy Radio, Star Wars On The Small Screen, and 1985FM in a fan-wide “Clone Wars Slumber Party“!
WHEN: Thursday night (March 6th into March 7th). Pre-airing chat on Twitter. Event begins Friday morning, 12:01am PST 1 minute into Friday.
WHAT TO BRING: Your Tweets!
WHY: Because it will be the Star Wars event of the season!

We hope you will join us for this “Clone Wars Slumber Party.” We’re using the hash tag #CloneWarsLive for the event (#CloneWars is the official hash tag you should use as well).
Also, if you haven’t watched them a million times already, here are two preview clips for “The Lost Missions”. The first clip was released through the official Star Wars Twitter account, and it featured Yoda and Anakin Skywalker in the unaired episode “Voices.” USA Today released the second preview clip, featuring Captain Rex and Fives in “Conspiracy.”
