Force Friday Galactic Madness
For the sake of ultimate transparency, I've never been a huge Star Wars fan. In fact, I've been known to commit the act of blasphemy, in loving the second trilogy...
Welcome to The Wookiee Gunner’s Rebels Chat, a short weekly segment, where my mom and I will share impressions, reactions, and our favorite moments of the latest Star Wars Rebels episode.
Our first episode focuses on the four character shorts previously released in August on Disney XD. My mom and I watched them and commented along, resulting in great conversation and laughter. Topics discussed include: droids and sentient life, graffiti and art, Ezra’s youth and society’s expectations, and much more!
Many thanks to my dear friend and partner-in-crime, Lledra, for transforming my very crude sketch into a wonderful piece of podcast art, as seen above. It’s exactly what I envisioned during the planning stages, and I’m glad you made it come true for me!
Technical Notes: Although I’ve used Audacity before to record, this was my first time playing around with the editing features. My mom and I shared the same microphone, and in certain instances, she sounded lower or farther away. I tried to fix those and any other bits that needed editing. Here’s hoping the final version isn’t too rough around the edges. Like anything else, I’ll require more practice. My eyes also went cross-eyed when reading the instructions on submitting podcasts to iTunes. If anyone has advice, send me a message through the Contact page. Above all, this is just a fun hobby for me and great bonding time with my mom, so I hope you’ll all enjoy the fangirling and share your thoughts in the comments section below!
