Just in time for Valentine’s Day, this week’s recipe is from everyone’s favorite smooth-talker, Lando Calrissian. I’m going with a tasteful alcoholic beverage, the Darkoma. First mentioned in a 2007 short story, Lando Calrissian: Idiot’s Array, by Rich Handley, the Darkoma is an intense alcoholic mixture favored by Lando. There isn’t much more said about the beverage, so I’m just doing my own take on this drink.

So let’s start this holiday out right, here’s the recipe for a Darkoma, a favorite beverage of the one-time captain of the Love Commander (remember that ship?).

The Darkoma

Makes 1 drink/serving

1 ½ fluid ounces Kahlua

1 fluid ounce vodka (or a little more if you’re feeling it)

Splash of Bailey’s or another Irish liqueur

1.Combine all ingredients and ice in a cocktail shaker. Pour into your favorite drink glass over ice.
