On March 11, 2013, Lucasfilm published a press release with goals to push Lucasfilm Animation towards a different direction. The new and upcoming series Star Wars Rebels was vaguely mentioned, Star Wars: The Clone Wars began the process of winding down, and Star Wars Detours was shelved. When it came to the remaining episodes of The Clone Wars, however, fans held onto every single word stated on the press release, “While the studio is no longer producing new episodes for Cartoon Network, we’re continuing production on new Clone Wars story arcs that promise to be some of the most thrilling adventures ever seen. Stay tuned for more information on where fans can soon find this bonus content.”

Finally, after a year of asking countless “When and where will the bonus content air?” questions and scouring the Web for hints or leads, fans have an answer.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars coming to Netflix on March 7

Starting on March 7, 2014, an exclusive licensing agreement between The Disney/ABC Television Group and Netflix will allow fans to stream the 2008 feature film and entire Star Wars: The Clone Wars series, including the remaining episodes that we’ve come to know as the bonus content. This debut is exclusive to Netflix subscribers in the US and Canada only.

In these eagerly anticipated episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, some of the deepest mysteries of the conflict between the light and the dark sides of the Force are revealed. An intrepid clone trooper discovers a shocking secret, Anakin Skywalker’s closest relationship is tested to its limits, and what Master Yoda discovers while investigating the disappearance of a Jedi could forever change the balance of power in the galaxy.

The bonus content is also scheduled to air in Germany’s Super RTL network, starting Saturday, February 15. You can view the episode preview for this weekend’s four-episode arc here.

The Star Wars fan community is a global community, however. If you’re not a Netflix subscriber in the US or Canada, you may be wondering when the bonus content will premiere for your country. Although there is no information present for international members, online episode guides will be available on StarWars.com.

In preparation for the premiere of the bonus content, the Netflix YouTube account also released an exclusive clip in which a familiar voice contacts Yoda during his meditation.

Watch an exclusive clip from the 6th and final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, streaming only on Netflix beginning March 7th in the US and Canada.
